The Newsscraper project

About the site

My life path has been influenced by two areas that have always been two great passions: IT and political science.

Born into a family of IT freelancers, I grew up surrounded by circuits, lines of code and the excitement of new technologies. This environment aroused my curiosity and sowed the seeds of a passion that would stay with me for the rest of my life.

As a teenager eager to understand the world around me, I chose to study Political Science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). After graduating, I took a completely different path by becoming a social worker. For two years, I was at the heart of social action, working in the field of extreme poverty and then home care for the elderly. However, my thirst for learning and my passion for technology were never far from my mind.

Not satisfied with my job as a social worker, I quitted my job to study computer science. Today, I'm a third-year undergraduate, discovering new and exciting aspects of this constantly-evolving field every day.

But my thirst for knowledge doesn't stop there. To acquire skills in coding and development, I embarked on an ambitious project: the creation of Newsscraper. Since the end of 2022, I've been implementing this vision to create a platform that aggregates and presents news in a concise and relevant way.

Join me on this adventure where technology meets political analysis, where passion combines with determination to create something new and exciting. Welcome to my world, where lines of code shape the future.
