The Newsscraper Project

My life journey has been influenced by two fields that have always been two great passions: computer science and political science.

Born into a family of freelancers working in the IT field, I grew up surrounded by circuits, lines of code and the excitement of new technologies. This environment aroused my curiosity and sowed the seeds of a passion that would accompany me throughout my life.

As a teenager eager to understand the world around me, I chose to pursue studies in Political Science at the Free University of Brussels (ULB). After graduating, I took a turn towards a completely different path by becoming a social worker. For two years, I was at the heart of social action, working in the very precarious sector and subsequently providing home care for elderly people. However, my thirst for learning and my passion for technology have never been far from my mind.

Unable to be satisfied with my job as a social worker, I left my job to study computer science. Today, I am a second year bachelor's student, discovering new and exciting facets of this constantly evolving field every day.

But my thirst for knowledge does not stop there. To learn coding and development skills, I took on an ambitious project: creating Newsscraper. Since the end of 2022, I have implemented this vision to create a platform that aggregates and presents news in a concise and relevant way.

Join me on this adventure where technology meets policy analysis, where passion combines with determination to create something new and exciting. Welcome to my world, where lines of code trace the contours of the future.
